Another Ruffle Tank for mama....
Here is a another little Ruffle Tank I made from the Ladies Tutorial from http://www.rufflesandstuff.com/ This time I used an old tank of mine with a clearance t-shirt found at Target for $2, an assortment of buttons from clothes/projects and this time I added a little rosette (same fabric from the Bubble Skirt #1). Let me know what you think:)
Little Guy Onesie
Here are some pics of a little onesie idea I had....need to come up with a way to stick the "tie" fabric to the shirt before sewing (I think a little interfacing will do that) so that the fabric doesn't wrinkle as much...but you get the idea:) Cost-Onesie $3.00, Scrap fabric and buttons from other project-Free....time about 15 minutes....

Something for Mama
So my new favorite place as mentioned before (http://www.rufflesandstuff.com/) had this tutorial under Ladies and I thought why not try it. I took an old white t-shirt of mine I didn't like much anymore and this pink tank from Old Navy and gave it a whirl. I added the buttons as a little touch and here it is! :) I wore it on Tuesday with a little black cardigan and thought it worked well. Let me know what you think!
Bubble Skirt #2
Here is #2 Bubble Skirt-finished this one last night...I like this one too and am excited to see it on Claire. If you have old tights you never loved on your little one and some fabric you like...let me know and I am willing to teach you, make it....or you can do it yourself by following the tutorial on http://www.rufflesandstuff.com/

Nap time productivity!
So I was able to get one of my ideas done during nap/rest time this afternoon. I found these at Target a few weeks ago and really just couldn't pass them up-I had to be able to do something with them I thought! They are 60" round oil cloth tablecloths that were on sale for $1.48! Here is my first idea (I have one more left which I plan to make a few aprons out of). But today I wanted to make a drop cloth for the floor to go under "Miss Dropsies" high chair-as I am getting tired of feeling like I should mop everyday due to the nastiness that lives on the floor to the sides of her chair. So this is what I came up with....
Two 60" Table cloths made 4 drop cloths and 4 bibs-all that for $3.00 and about 1 hour!!
This is the finished drop cloth...a few more feet of space for the food to fall too...now if she starts throwing food we have a different issue...
1. Fold your tablecloth in half and cut at the fold....

2.Take a bib and place it in either corner-cut out a piece on either side of your 1/2 circle that will be big enough to trace the bib shape...

3. Trim the edges to make your cut outs less drastic of a line (you can zig-zag stitch the edges later-but you don't really have too)
4. Place the cut out pieces together wrong side facing each other-pin the bib you are using as a pattern to the top of one of the right sides and cut out the shape....
Here is what it looks like folded up under the high-chair for storage:)
