Three Faces of Blake...

As I psychology major I got the "pleasure" of watching movies about multiple personalities in my classes such as "Cybil" and the "Three Faces of Eve" this little photo shoot that Blake and I had on Saturday morning made me think of that...Goofy little boy and his funny faces!
CHEESE! Serious... Goofy...

One of those days!

Today I have decided I would like to crawl back in bed and start over...nothing huge just a bunch of little things have piled up...enough for me to say "Are you kidding!?!?"
1. Re-arranging things in the fridge I spill Chicken Noodle soup (homemade mind you) all over me...of course on a day I have gotten up and dressed before the kids got up...
2. In putting away some bins of clothes no longer needed our kid bath falls on my head...
3. Get in my car to discover (by smelling the disgusting smell) that rotten milk has spilled all over my diaper bag.
4. Get home to wash said bag...washing machine shreds it into pieces...
5. Hear Blake crying during nap to find that he has locked himself in his room-this is an easy problem to solve...upon entering I see that he has squeezed lotion all over his head...not just any lotion people his $25 dollar TINY TUBE of Mederma lotion that we need for his scar!
AHHHHHH....
I did make a cute profile silhouette of the little kiddo which is quite cute and I am excited to find a picture of Claire to do the same with...

A little work to do....

Justin and Blake went on a hike this Saturday-to see the pics go to Justin's Facebook page...I know a miracle right;)-anyway on the hike Blake got to talking and Justin took the opportunity to film it. He was telling Justin a story...a story that went something like this: "Hey Dad, did you know that Noah told God to build a boat to save the animals-2 by 2-but then Jonah came and ATE The whale..." HA! So we have a little explaining and clarifying to do to make sure the right is being told to build the ark....the whale is eating the man....and the 2 stories didn't happen at the same time....but fun to hear his little mind work and see that he is thinking about what he is told....

1! Can't Believe it!

So Claire is 1-well actually she is almost 13 months-but we just had her party last week-it was a blast-and we felt very loved by all the people that took the time to make us part of their weekend. Last summer a friend of mine were driving and had heard the news that Blake was the name of the hour-and the 5th caller would win a bouncy house! So we both called in and she got it! So we added this craziness to the party:)
Claire is such a doll-she is sooo different from Blake, which is fun to see, currently she is enjoying:
1. Crawling in her own fashion (one knee up the other down...)
2. Saying "Baaa" for sheep (and any other animal that is)
3. Smelling her blankies (now that is JUST like her brother...who taught these kids that!)
4. Dropping her milk cup and any food she doesn't want (I could do without this as the sweeping is no fun)
5.Dancing to the music-whe really can help herself it is so cute everytime she hears music she swings her little torso from side to side..
6. Saying MaMa and DaDa when she sees us!
7. Playing with Blake (crawling around after him and annoying him...so it begins)
8. Eating anything she can off the floor...
9. Saying "All Done" and "More" with sign language
10. Giving 'kisses'
11. Coloring-which lasts for about 1 minute before it turns into eating crayon...
12. Waving hello and good bye
13. Making periodic "breaks" for the stairs-she knows she shouldn't go up there because right before she goes up she looks back and you and grins...(Don't tell me kids aren't smarter than we give them credit!)

Blake...never a dull moment...even at 2am...

So mister 3 year old decided that he wanted to get in on all the sewing that had been happening around here...not really...he tripped in the middle of the night on a expedition to use the potty (most likely because in full Linus style he was dragging his blankie with him) and hit his head on the corner of his dresser. Off to the ER we went and 5 hours later a brave boy returned with 5 stitches....

We are off to get them out today! Hope it goes well...

Throughout the whole ordeal he kept telling Justin that God was helping him...what sweet innocent faith:)
Morning after the ordeal...
