Little Boys are important too! :)

I had been wanting to do this for awhile and thought why not now...especially with the realization that most of my crafting ideas have involved little girly things... So Blake has this shirt and I love it-he loves it too:) This is what started this idea.... Blake also has these 2 shirts-he LOVES his Nemo-but always wants to wear it without a long shirt under it and since he always takes coats off it make it hard for him to wear for about 11 months out the year here in the Northwest when outside. This paired with this thermal-which is too short for him already but still way to wide....weird (are we the only people that have this issue????)...I think I can make the above shirt....

1. Cut the sleeves off of the long sleeve shirt at the armpit and at an angle...

2. Pin the sleeve right side out about 1.5-2 inches into the short sleeve shirt.

3. Sew together on the t-shirt-as you will see the stitches-takes a little care to now sew on top of self.

4. I added a blue stitch around the bottom since that is the color I used on the sleeves.

6. Done! New shirt!

Oh I thought why not and made this for little sis from the left over...
